Significant cost savings through PRE-ELEC® PA 1411
Premix introduces a new cost-effective condutive PA 6 based concentrate. PRE-ELEC® PA 1411 can be diluted up to 50% with different polyamide 6 grades and still obtain surface resistance values less than 107Ω.
This revolutionary approach enables cutting down of raw material costs and gives more freedom to modify the properties of end product. As an example one can pick recycled polyamide when looking for most cost-effective solution or choose glass-fiber reinforced polyamide when obtaining good mechanical properties is essential.
The product has been developed for applications in which permanent conductivity is needed in order to avoid the problems caused by static electricity. Examples of these kind of applications will be found from the field of ESD shielding or from explosive atmospheres in which the ATEX approved products have to be used.
