Conductive Plastics for Fuel Filler Heads and Necks

Carbon black filled PRE-ELEC® TP 11270 has improved fuel permeation properties whereas PRE-ELEC® TP 14839 is cost-effective solution for fuel filler necks. Both materials have excellent ESCR (Environmental Stress Cracking) properties are easy to process due to improved melt flow. HDPE base polymer ensures seamless welding to fuel filler pipe.

Glass fiber reinforced electrically conductive PRE-ELEC® TP 14708GF is right choice for parts exposed to mechanical stress during tank filling. It obtains strong mechanical properties and brings cost savings when replacing more expensive technical plastics e.g. polyamide.
