The year 2020 was a challenging one. I hope you and your employees are all sound and well. Thank you for your patience with all the virtual meetings and well-implemented remote customer service during this time!
At Premix, to ensure production and business continuity, all our employees who were not needed for production were asked to work remotely. Our factory workers were flexible in following the tight corona restrictions. We were able to keep the factory running without any hiccups.
We spent the year 2020 renewing our business. We started creating a basis for our digitalization renewal. We made significant investments in production capacity and developing product quality. At the beginning of 2020, we started providing licensed RTP products to support their customers after the unfortunate fire at their factory. The pandemic also powerfully drove our diagnostics sales.
The beginning of 2021 started with exceptional disturbances in raw material availability. This led to our company's first Force Majeure situation in whole our 40-year history. I am very sorry for all trouble this raw material availability problem has caused you. I am happy, though, to tell you that our delivery reliability has been 98.3%. You, our distributors, are in a key position, and we need to develop our operations together with you constantly. I appreciate all the feedback you can give us and help us better serve you.
We plan to continue supporting you, our distributors, with fresh energy and a new product strategy that we are just being finalizing.
