Material Solutions for Safer, Smarter Electronics Manufacturing
Materials for Performance-Critical Environments
In electronics manufacturing, precision, reliability, and contamination control are critical to maintaining product quality and protecting sensitive components. From preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) during assembly to ensuring signal integrity in high-frequency applications, the right materials can make all the difference.
Protect. Shield. Perform.
Premix ESD materials are engineered to protect components, reduce contamination, and improve process stability throughout the entire electronics manufacturing lifecycle — from assembly lines to global logistics.
- ESD Protection: Prevents damage to delicate electronics and minimizes costly failures.
- EMI Shielding: Maintains signal integrity in high-frequency and densely packed systems.
- Material Consistency: Reduces process variation and ensures reliable batch-to-batch performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Materials aligned with REACH, RoHS, and cleanroom standards.
Applications
Compounds for ESD-Safe Boxes & Pallets
Our conductive plastic materials used in boxes, containers, and pallets provide dependable electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection while also offering strength and durability for repeated use.
Compounds for Conductive Sheets & Trays
Thermoformed or injection-molded trays and sheets are ideal for automated assembly lines and cleanroom applications. Conductive trays help keep components organized while providing safe ESD handling throughout production.
Compounds for Corrugated Boards
ESD-safe corrugated boards are used to create lightweight, foldable packaging such as dividers, inserts, and custom boxes. They're ideal for tailored packaging formats with surface resistance built into every fiber.
Compounds for Conductive Films & Filaments
Conductive films and filaments offer a lightweight, flexible way to safeguard sensitive electronics and powders from electrostatic discharge in FIBC liners, conductive yarns, reel wrapping, packaging.
Compounds for Foams
Vivamus varius molestie massa morbi nec congue mollis. Sagittis eu elit turpis adipiscing aliquet quis vivamus vulputate. Commodo in interdum enim ultrices suspendisse lacus placerat amet. Mattis aliquam nibh sed consectetur elementum.
Compounds for Wafer Handling
Semiconductor wafers are among the most sensitive and valuable components in modern electronics. Ensuring their safe handling and transport requires packaging materials that combine electrical performance, mechanical durability, and chemical purity.

The Industry’s Parallel Universes of Sustainability and Cost
In the manufacturing industry, sustainability is a popular topic—but often a distant reality. While corporate ESG goals point in the right direction, everyday decisions such as procurement criteria are still dominated by one driver: cost.
Electrically conductive plastics in sheet applications
This blog post discusses processing and using Premix’s electrically conductive plastics concentrates on sheets – one of the biggest end-use applications for conductive plastics. The electrically conductive sheet will be further thermoformed and processed into electrostatic protective packaging for electronic components. In most cases, the base polymer for carbon black compounds is polystyrene. For special applications, other base polymers such as ABS or polycarbonate can also be used.
