What is Static Electricity and Why It Matters?

Static electricity might sound simple, but in industrial environments it can lead to real issues.

Dr. Compound will walk you through it step by step and show how conductive materials help keep products, processes, and people safe.

Born in Finland. Made in USA.

We’re proud to bring our ESD expertise and trusted material solutions closer to our U.S. customers. With our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Gaston County, North Carolina, Premix now produces high-quality, electrically conductive compounds locally—ensuring shorter lead times, supply chain security, and a smaller carbon footprint.

Backed by 40+ years of Finnish innovation and a laser-sharp focus on ESD, we’re here to help U.S. industries build safer, smarter, and more sustainable systems.

Committed to a More Sustainable Future

For us sustainability isn’t a buzzword. It’s built into how we develop materials and operate our business.

From developing fully recyclable materials to supporting circular economy models, we’re working to reduce environmental impact across the value chain. Our ongoing efforts have also been recognized with an EcoVadis Gold rating, placing us among the top 5% of companies globally assessed by EcoVadis.

We believe in smarter materials, longer lifecycles, and a future where performance and responsibility go hand in hand.
