Premix in the USA - The new manufacturing plant in the USA 2025
With the new manufacturing plant in the US, we can offer our customers better global supply capability, mitigate risks in global supply chains, and better serve our customers in the US market.
The compounding in the new plant is planned to start in Q2/2025. However, we will already offer our US customers services in 2024. First, the option for our US customers to have local storage for the compounds produced in Finland, already in 2024, and in early 2025 also toll compounding services.

Our customers will benefit from our ability to deliver high-quality materials from two different continents in the future. With dual sourcing (EU and USA), we guarantee global supply security.
As a Premix customer in North America, you will enjoy local production and services, ensuring short lead times and high supply reliability. The new plant will manufacture electrically conductive and dissipative plastic compounds for various applications where static electricity creates problems.

ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE PLASTICS
With our portfolio of electrically conductive plastics, we are enhancing the safety of products and society. We offer a wide product portfolio of electrically conductive PRE-ELEC® compounds and concentrates for electrostatic discharge (ESD), explosive atmospheres (Ex), liquid handling, and metal replacement applications.
ENERGY APPLICATIONS
Our electrically conductive plastics bring critical functionality for medium voltage, high voltage, and extra high voltage cables. We are also actively developing specialty materials, e.g., automotive signaling cables, ROV submarine cables, and cables for ATEX areas.
